Today sees the launch of the I Trust Sport Network, a collection of organisations that share a commitment to tackling the major challenges in sports governance in a range of countries. While the missions of the members of the Network may vary, they all have overlapping goals.
The Network will provide opportunities for sharing information, insights and for collaboration.
The inaugural members of the I Trust Sport Network are:
Transparencia en el Deporte (Colombia)
Sports Governance e.V. (Germany)
Coalición Panameña PRO Deportes (Panama)
iTrust Assurance (UK)
Rowland Jack, Founder of sports governance consultancy I Trust Sport, which has created the I Trust Sport Network said:
“There is good work being done to tackle urgent issues of sports governance in different parts of the world. Now is the time to share knowledge and to look actively for opportunities to collaborate to achieve the goals we share. I would like to thank the four inaugural members for joining.
The fact that the organisations are based in Colombia, Panama, Germany and the UK demonstrates that sports governance challenges tend to be similar all over the world and that we can learn from each other. We look forward to working more closely together, and to welcoming new members to the Network in due course."
Membership of the I Trust Sport Network is free and open to any organisation or individual working in the general area of sports governance which commits to the I Trust Sport manifesto. Members gain access to use of the Network logo.
